A testament to ADM’s commitment to continuous improvements and meeting customer’s demands, Aero Dynamic Machining is now AS9100 compliant for manufacturing and verifying parts from native UG and Catia 3-D models.

ADM is now a Boeing IDS Mentor/Protégé

Aero Dynamic Machining has been selected as a Boeing IDS Protégé under a joint contract between Boeing and the U.S. Air Force. The three year Mentor/Protégé agreement is a significant investment in training and infrastructure to ensure ADM, Inc. is positioned for growth to engage the aerospace industries increasing demand and opportunities.

Initial classroom instructions will include: Team Building, Lean Principles, Lean Manufacturing Applications, ERP/ MRP Systems, and Sub-Tier Supplier Management. As part of the three year program , ADM will select and train two college interns to be trained for aerospace manufacturing and CNC programming and machining techniques.

Minority institutions Cerritos College and Florida International University will partner with Boeing, Air Force, and ADM to provide specific training. Additionally, California Manufacturing Technology Corporation will assist with the training curriculum.

Tri-annual Program Management Reviews are scheduled with Air Force, Boeing, and ADM personnel to ensure Return on Investment goals are achieved.

ADM is honored to participate in the D.O.D Mentor/Protégé program.

ADM Adds CMM Capabilities

The recent purchase of a Brown and Sharpe Global Image 5P 9208 System with PC-DMIS 4.2 provides ADM and our customers the full complement of Digital Product Definition/Model Based Definition capabilities. This investment coupled with Catia V5 and Unigraphics Direct Cad Interface provides opportunities to validate customer native design CAD models while providing a “one source” solution for reduced cost, reduce cycle time and higher quality parts . Additionally, the capability of exporting the AS9102 report with PC-DMIS will streamline First Article Inspections and production inspection reports.

As part of our ongoing investment in technology, ADM has purchased Unigraphics to streamline the product build cycle.

Aero Dynamic Machining, Inc. becomes Catia V5 capable.

As part of our ongoing investment in technology, ADM has purchased Catia to streamline the product build cycle. This capability includes viewing, interrogating, and translating native Catia models for subsequent CNC programming and inspections while moving one step closer towards Digital Product Definition approval.

New Location

Aero Dynamic Machining has relocated to a new 30,000 sq ft facility in Garden Grove Ca. The new facility affords further opportunities for growth in support of the increasing demands for aerospace manufacturing capacities. ADM continues to make significant investments in infrastructure to ensure customer satisfaction and ever increasing levels of quality and delivery performance. The Aero Dynamic Machining team is implementing VISUAL Jobshop Premier MRP System. This integrated solution is the infrastructure foundation for accurate and efficient order fulfillment control. This significant investment is a testament to Aero Dynamic Machining’s commitment to “continuous improvement”.

NQA Registrars

Aero Dynamic Machining has signed with NQA Registrars to accelerate the ISO9001:2000 /AS9100:2004 Quality Management System transition and Registration process. The initial on site registration assessment is scheduled for February 2006. Weekly training continues as the entire management team and staff implement the AS9100 controls.
